A Master Class for High School Students
For Aspiring Performers ages 14-18
Taught by David Armstrong, Bill Berry and Ian Eisendrath
Are you looking to develop your audition skills? This in-depth, two-day master class will focus on the skills and techniques you need to sharpen your skills and nail your auditions. In class, students will learn about the differences between an audition song and a song performed in a show, and the best way to approach and prepare for audition. Students will learn how to choose songs and practice the behavior that will improve one's chances of getting a callback or cast in a show. On the second day of class, students will participate in a mock audition and receive feedback from the Producing Artistic Director of The 5th Avenue Theatre. Students who are registered as participants will be given the opportunity to work directly with instructors David Armstrong, Bill Berry, and Ian Eisendrath. Students must come prepared, learn their song ahead of time and bring sheet music in the correct key.
