The 5th Avenue Theatre offers two incredible programs for middle and high school students: the Spring Break Musical Theatre Camp and a Summer Musical Theatre Camp. Both feature classes in voice, dance and acting, and are taught by some of the top professionals teaching and performing in the world of musical theater today. Spring break camp will focus on professional training. At the end of each day, a guest theater artist will lead a special session covering audition techniques, song interpretations, musical theater history and other critical aspects of being a strong performer. During the summer, the focus is on performance. Throughout the two-week intensive course, students work on a group ensemble number they perform for the group at the end of the session.
We are excited to offer two wonderful opportunities for kids and teens ages 12 -18: a Junior Camp and a Senior Camp. Both camps offer classes in dance, voice and acting, and the final day will culminate in an informal presentation where students share their work with one another.
- Junior Camp for ages 12 -13: Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 3:00pm. Students will take classes in dance, voice and acting for musical theater.
- Senior Camp for ages 14 -18: Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 6:00pm. Students will take classes in dance, voice and acting for musical theater and participate in afternoon master classes and studio workshops.
