Accessibility
The 5th Avenue Theatre offers wheelchair seating at the orchestra level and elevator assistance to the balcony level. We also provide assisted listening devices, American Sign Language-interpreted performances, audio-described performances, and complimentary Braille playbills. Arrival Time
Productions begin promptly, so we encourage you to arrive at least 15 minutes early. Doors open 45 minutes before the show and seating begins 30 minutes before the curtain.
ATM
The nearest ATM is located outside Washington Mutual at the corner of 5th Avenue and Union Street. In addition, you’ll find a US Bank ATM in the Rainier Square Concourse, and Bank of America and Key Bank ATM’s at 4th Avenue and Union Street.
Attire
For many patrons, attending a show at The 5th Avenue Theatre is a special occasion, but formal wear is not required. Attire generally varies from business casual to cocktail dresses and suits. Above all, we want you to feel comfortable.
Box Office
The box office is located under The 5th Avenue Theatre’s marquee. You may purchase tickets in person at the box office with no additional service fees.
Cameras and Recorders
The use of cameras and audio recording equipment is strictly prohibited. You may leave these items at our coat check.
Cell Phones, Pagers and Watch Alarms
Please turn off cell phones, pagers and watch alarms before the performance begins.
Children
Children under four years of age, including babes in arms, will not be admitted. 5th Avenue productions are generally suitable for ages 8 and above. Some shows deal with mature themes and may not be appropriate for all children. For information on whether a particular show is suitable for your child, please see the Parental Guidelines. Complimentary booster seats are available at our coat check.
Coat Check
Our complimentary coat check is located in the lobby next to aisle 3. You may check any item you don’t wish to carry into the Theatre. We ask that you check food, cameras and recording devices, as these are prohibited in the auditorium. Booster seats and Braille playbills are available at no charge, and binoculars may be rented for $5.00.

Food & Drinks
Refreshments are available for purchase on both levels of the lobby before the performance and during intermission. Food and drinks, except for bottled water, are not permitted inside the auditorium.
Late Seating Policy
Patrons arriving late will be seated at the first suitable pause in the performance in the least disruptive location. Following intermission, an usher will help you find your seat.
Lost & Found
To inquire about a lost item, please call 206.625.1418, Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Or e-mail
with the subject line “Lost & Found.” Please include your name, phone number, seat location, and a description of the item. Lost & Found items are stored for three months, and then donated to charity.
Patron Considerations
Please apply fragrance in moderation and refrain from talking or singing during the show.
Producer’s Club Lounge
The Producer’s Club lounge is one of the many benefits offered to our Producer’s Club donors. The lounge is located down the stairs below the marquee and through the red door on the right. Become a member of The Producer’s Club
Show Memorabilia
Posters of most shows are available at our box office for $10.00. Other merchandise is typically available for touring Broadway performances.
Tickets
You may purchase tickets online, by phone, or in person at the box office. Click here for ticketing information.
Tickets are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend a performance, you may donate your tickets to The 5th Avenue Theatre and receive a tax-deductible receipt for your income taxes. Please call 206.625.1900 / 888.5TH.4TIX before the performance. Season tickets subscribers may exchange their tickets for another show.
If you lose or forget your tickets, please call 206.625.1900 / 888.5TH.4TIX for a replacement. You may pick up your tickets at the box office the day of the show.
Third Party Tickets
The 5th Avenue asks that you refrain from purchasing tickets from outside sources. Any tickets obtained through scalpers, brokers or other means may be counterfeit, inadmissible and do not benefit the performers, producers or The 5th Avenue Theatre.
Ushers
If you experience any discomfort during a performance, an usher or our house manager will be glad to assist you.
Weather
All performances will take place as scheduled, regardless of weather conditions.
