The Theatre offers the Sennheiser Listening System for patrons who are hard-of-hearing. Headset use is complimentary however coat check does request a photo ID when checking out a headset. All headsets are subject to availability.

Scripts for the Hard-of-Hearing

If you would like to have a script and book-light provided for your use during a performance, please request one at the coat check inside the lobby. Scripts will be checked out with photo ID. Subject to availability on a show-by-show basis.

Open Caption performances are designed for patrons with mild to complete hearing loss. Dialogue and lyrics of the show scroll across a caption screen in synch with the actual performance. The caption screen is located to the right of the stage and special seats are available in the auditorium for this service. For more information please call 206.625.1900.

ASL Performances

Select American Sign Language-interpreted performances are available for the hard-of-hearing and deaf patrons. Seating is located in a reserved section close to the ASL interpreters. Additional guests and ASL students may purchase tickets elsewhere in the Theatre and — if space permits — are welcome to move into the ASL section on the day of the performance.

Audio-Described Performances

The 5th Avenue Theatre offers select audio-described performances for visually impaired and blind patrons through our Sennheiser Listening System This service is accessible throughout the theatre, therefore tickets can be purchased in any available price range. For more information please call 206-625-1900.

Braille Playbills

Complimentary Braille playbills are available at our coat check, located in the lobby near Aisle 3.
