Theater Doors Open
Lobby doors open 45 minutes before the show and seating begins 30 minutes before the curtain. Performances begin promptly. Patrons who arrive late will be seated with the discretion of the House Manager.
The 5th Avenue Theatre is on 5th Avenue just north of the intersection of 5th Avenue and University Street in downtown Seattle. The Theatre address is 1308 5th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101.
$9.75 per ticket service fee is applied to all web and phone orders. The service fee is waived for tickets purchased in person at the Box Office.
Ticket price alone does not cover all of the costs involved in running the non-profit 5th Avenue Theatre. Service fees go towards our in-house ticketing system and a small, dedicated, local (actually at the theater!) Guest Services staff.

The Box Office is situated directly under the Theatre marquee at 1308 5th Avenue in downtown Seattle (just north of the intersection of 5th Avenue and University Street).
Lost Tickets – Need a Reprint?
If you lose or forget your tickets, please call 206.625.1900 or email email@example.com. We can reprint your tickets and have them available for pick-up at the Box Office Will Call window on the day of the show. If your show is today, no need to call - just go directly to the Box Office Reprint Window for assistance. Note: We do not replace or reprint any parking pass or voucher.
DISCOUNT OFFERS AND POLICIES
For many shows we offer several kinds of Day-of-Show tickets for purchase at the Box Office. All Day-of-Show and See-It-Again tickets are subject to availability, section limitations and ticket limits.
$20 Day-of-Show tickets for West Side Story are available for the following groups with valid ID. Excludes all matinees. Valid only in zones 3, 4, 5, and 6. Tickets may be purchased in person starting when the Box Office opens each day.
$20 Day-of-Show tickets for our Downtown neighbors who work or live nearby. Please show a valid ID or current business card with a downtown zip code (98101, 98104, 98121). Excludes Saturday Matinee, Saturday Evening, and Sunday Matinee. Valid in zones 3, 4, 5, and 6. Up to 2 tickets per ID/card.
50% off See-It-Again tickets for patrons who have already seen the current production. For most shows, the See-It-Again offer is 50% off any available seat in zones 2, 3, 4, or 5. There are no restrictions on matinees. To purchase a See-It-Again ticket for a best-available seat, bring your paid ticket stub to the Box Office on the day of the performance you want to see.
$5 tickets for TeenTix members. If you are age 13-19, you can sign up for a TeenTix pass and see arts and cultural events at participating venues in Seattle and surrounding areas for only $5. At The 5th, most productions are available with a $5 cash payment. 2 for $10 Sunday deals are available for Sunday evening performances only.
The 5th Avenue Theatre welcomes children ages 4 and older. Children under 4, including babes in arms, will not be admitted. Seat cushions for little ones are available at no charge at Coat Check. Content Advisories may be found here.
Some shows deal with mature themes and may not be appropriate for all children. For information about whether a particular show is suitable for your child, we strongly encourage you to check the Content Advisories tab on the learn more page for each production or click here to view the season all on one page.
What to Wear
Attire generally varies from business casual to cocktail dresses and suits. For many patrons, attending a show at The 5th is a special occasion. Above all, we want you to feel comfortable.

Lobby Amenities, Food & Drink
Refreshments are available for purchase on both levels of the lobby before the performance and during intermission. Drinks may be pre-ordered for intermission. Candy and beverages purchased at the lobby concession stand may be brought into the theatre. Beverages must be in a bottle with cap or a theater cup with lid. Seat Cushions & Special Needs
Complimentary seat cushions for our smaller and shorter patrons are available at the top of each aisle. Our complimentary Coat Check has Braille show programs and assistive listening devices. Binoculars may be rented for $5.00.
The 5th Avenue Theatre has Sennheiser Listening System headsets for patrons who are hard-of-hearing. We also offer inductive neck loops. Both devices are complimentary, but subject to availability. The following is a partial list of prohibited items that are not permitted inside the theater. The 5th Avenue Theatre management reserves the right to prohibit other items as deemed necessary.
Cameras, Cell Phones & Electronic Devices
The use of cameras and audio recording equipment is strictly prohibited. You may leave these items at Coat Check. Please turn off all cell phones, pagers and alarms before the performance begins. Texting during performances is also strictly prohibited.
All performances will take place as scheduled, regardless of weather conditions.
Ticket Exchanges & Donations
You may exchange your tickets from one date of a show to another date of the same show, if you do so 24 hours or more prior to your scheduled performance date. Season tickets may be exchanged without an additional fee; single-show tickets are assessed a fee for exchange privileges. Log into your online account to exchange your tickets no later than 24 hours before your scheduled performance. Visit the Account Home page and click on the Exchange Tickets box to the right for complete instructions. You must log in to your account online to start the exchange. Please note: Tickets are non-refundable.
You may also donate your tickets back to the non-profit 5th Avenue Theatre. Please call 206.625.1900 in advance of your scheduled performance. The 5th cannot guarantee that ticket donations are tax deductible and does not produce tax receipts for these donations.
Scalpers & Third-Party Tickets
The 5th Avenue Theatre DOES NOT allocate tickets or sell tickets to outside ticket brokers or resellers. Our authorized external partners are TodayTix and Goldstar. We cannot verify the authenticity of tickets purchased from agencies or brokers. Tickets purchased through scalpers, brokers or other third parties may be counterfeit and inadmissible. Also, please be aware that ticket brokers may add substantial fees on top of the price they paid for the tickets they are reselling. We have no control over the fees they charge their customers.
We strongly encourage you to purchase your tickets directly from The 5th Avenue Box Office or website. When you purchase from us, you will get the most current seat information, the best availability, the best prices, and all of your money will go to support the great musical theater you see on the 5th Avenue stage.
